Job Identification

We are looking for a Cloud Security Architect to be a part of our Information Security team located in Dudullu/Istanbul. 
As a Security Architect you will be responsible for understanding, solving and guiding the design and configuration of cloud-based information systems in alignment with security standards and requirements. Collaborating with different teams and serving as a security expert is an important responsibility where different cloud technologies with different and complex architectures are in place. Reviewing and improving the cloud security posture, giving technical guidance, identifying security related risks, and guiding in architecture reviews are the main expectations from this role.
 

What We Expect

  • Understand cloud requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews, self-assessments, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis to define in a deep level.
  • Define and communicate the cloud security strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review cloud designs to ensure security objectives are implemented successfully. 
  • Participate in technology discussions with architecture and product teams to perform security architecture design reviews of cloud solutions/services and communicate the necessity of security requirements.
  • Define and maintain the processes for a successful cloud security governance.
  • Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the solutions/services in cloud, escalating where appropriate.
  • Contributes to the strategy, vision, requirements, and solutions for enterprise cloud initiative from a security perspective.
  • Create and execute a hardening initiative for all cloud-based systems.
  • Translate and advise on security risks which may have business impact.
  • Propose new technologies that will be needed as a result of the findings and requirements.
  • Monitor technologies in accordance with the defined policies, standards, and procedures of the organization, as well as with industry best practices and vendor guidelines.
  • Prepare presentations and technical documents as well as necessary trainings to ensure that the philosophy is widely known within CCI while maximizing the benefits.
  • Follow developments in technology and security threats closely, conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards, interact with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to obtain new services and products

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), a similar technical field of study
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Cyber Security, Cloud Security, and related technologies.
  • Knowledge and experience in cloud security architectures, risk assessment techniques, information security frameworks and standards like ISO/IEC 27001.
  • Experience with different cloud vendors, technologies, and services.
  • Experience in cloud architecture design processes and cloud security.
  • Knowledge of potential risks involved in transitions from on-premises to cloud or vice versa.
  • Solid understanding of secure cloud network and system/service design.
  • Knowledge of security implication of various cloud services.
  • Experience in Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools is a plus.
  • Experience with enterprise security solution design and implementation skills such as Identity and Access Management is a plus.
  • Experience in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration is a plus.
  • Azure, AWS, GCP and related technical certificates are a big plus.
  • Ability to communicate complicated technical issues and the risks.
  • Risk frameworks and management knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in breaking down complex cloud systems and services to find security flaws and gaps.
  • Working in harmony with people and other resources to achieve specific results.
  • Ability to participate through collaboration with effective stakeholder management while conveying the sound of stakeholders.
  • Expert troubleshooting capabilities and solid problem-solving skills with proactive approach.
  • Enthusiastic about solving business challenges effectively, utilizing customer-centricity, design thinking and lean start up methodologies.
  • Strong communication, documentation, presentation and writing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
