Job Identification

We are now seeking for a FA & Costing Team Leader be a part of our GO Finance Service Center team in Istanbul. The main responsibilities and the specifications for the role are shared below:

What We Expect

  • Deliver the highest quality of service as defined by the RTR SDL in conjunction with the business units.
  • Meet Service Partnership Agreements (SPAs) and productivity targets
  • Establish a good relationship with customers maintaining open communication channels and developing high standards for service delivery
  • Lead, motivate a team, with responsibility for delivering compliance, accuracy and timeliness on defined services. Develop high performing teams through effective coaching
  • Verification of FA Inventory
  • Follow up and monitor the records and transactions to ensure them be compliant with IFRS and local regulations 8.       FA/GL reconciliation, detection of gap, proposal of solutions Simulations for business plan and accurate prediction of depreciation
  • Control and coordinate account reconciliations in a timely manner
  • Ensure accurate and timely standard cost calculation and actual cost accounting
  • Ensure the accurate, timely and complete Fixed Assets accounting in compliance with CCI Fixed Assets Policy.
  • Ensure all month end closing operations are planned, executed and controlled as per defined processes and timelines
  • Coordinate accounting and financial reporting processes for assets & costing Conduit for resolution of all day-to-day accounting related issues for all relevant internal and external parties
  • Ensure compliance with the CCI group accounting policies & IFRS, Service Center standard processes and SPAs
  • Ensure adherence with the monthly and yearly accounting reporting cycles
  • Provide input into continuous process improvement
  • Ensure that all process controls are operational, actively identify control gaps and recommend possible solutions.
  • Recognize and communicate potential issues/risks within the team and work with the team to generate solutions.

Qualifications

  • Min. 4 years accounting experience with an excellent knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Knowledge of SAP asset and costing modules (product costing)
  • Be a Certified Public Accountant (SMMM) preferably
  • Extended knowledge of IFRS and local regulations
  • Good command of English (both written and verbal); Knowledge of one of the following languages will be considered as an asset: Turkish, Arabic, Russian or any of the CA local languages
  • Strong focus on providing the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Ability to analyze customer needs through soliciting, evaluating and acting upon customer feedback
  • Confident, self motivated and enthusiastic
