Job Identification
We are looking for a Procurement Category Manager to be a part of CCI Procurement Team.
Develop and manage category group strategies for category groups at the corporate and regional levels. Manage category group spending at the corporate and regional levels. Ensure that all corporate and regional procurement activities are managed according to CCI policy and procurement procedures. Act as a business partner to the regional market for category groups. Oversee strategies for the secondary category group to ensure the Assistant Group Lead is executing effectively. The role requires an experienced professional with a history of demonstrating delivery of creative end-to-end supply chain solutions and strong cross-functional and supply-base collaboration skills that lead to strategy alignment and execution performance.
What We Expect
- Align with internal and external key stakeholders (including CEPG- Cross Enterprise procurement group) to drive and ensure implementation of strategies for commodities managed.
- Bring innovative supply chain, packaging and financing solutions to the system to drive short term and long term value.
- Analyze complex business issues associated with contract negotiations, using industry analysis and CEPG’s historical experience in order to make business recommendations that mitigate risk
- Run tenders for the managed categories to negotiate pricings as well as other terms and conditions to achieve targeted year on year and versus BP savings.
- Understanding full business requirements and strategies to influence internal stakeholders to drive TCO optimizations. Make sure CCI plants operate with minimum stocks and just on time delivery as much as possible.
- Develop alternative suppliers, create contingecy plans.
- Act as business partner to the regional markets ensuring alignment and allowing for visibility at the market level to inform corporate-level strategy
- Utilize reporting and analytics to drive key strategies and decisions for the category group
- Lead Supplier Relationship Management partnerships that generate business specific objectives and execute against objectives to generate shared value between organizations, which include continuous cost optimization
- Improving CCI's cashflow performance
- Preparing annual purchasing budget, annual materials requirement, purchase price analysis; control purchasing department budgets by examining demand/supply through purchase requests analysis and price researches.
- Develop short, mid and long-term strategies for the category group to determine action plans, follow ups and actualize departments KPI.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or MA Degree.
- With a minimum 10 years of experience, category management is an asset.
- Excellent command of Turkish and English.
- Strong analytical thinking skills, customer focus, and business acumen.
- Clear and concise in both oral and written communication.
- Sourcing award approvals, Contract approvals & Category strategy management.
- Developing Exiting & Inducting new suppliers.
