Software Engineer (WinUI)

Job Identification

We are looking for a Software Engineer to be a part of our Commercial Digital Technology team located in Dudullu/Istanbul. 
As a WinUI Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of applications using the Windows UI Library (WinUI) framework. You will collaborate with a team of experienced developers, designers, and testers to create high-quality, modern, and user-friendly applications for our clients.
 

What We Expect

• Collaborate with other developers to understand project requirements, design specifications, and user interface guidelines.
• Assist in the development of WinUI-based applications, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and maintainable.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Implement user interfaces, screens, and components based on design mockups and wireframes.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code using C# and XAML, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Perform code reviews and participate in peer programming sessions to ensure high-quality code and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the UX/UI team to ensure the applications provide an exceptional user experience and follow the latest design trends.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues, identifying and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in WinUI and related technologies, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
• Assist in the testing and quality assurance processes, including writing unit tests and participating in bug fixing efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with C#, XAML, MAUI, .NET, SQL, REST or other similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
• Knowledge of WinUI framework and its components, such as XAML Islands, Composition API, and Fluent Design System.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to learn new technologies and programming languages quickly.
• Experience with other UI frameworks (e.g., WPF, UWP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
