Job Identification
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced IFRS Reporting Executive to join our finance team. The main responsibilities and the specifications for the role are shared below:
What We Expect
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported in accordance with company policies and accounting standards ( IFRS – Local GAAP )
- Lead the preparation of monthly, and annual financial reports in compliance with IFRS standards.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial statements, providing detailed explanations for variances and trends.
- Manage the IFRS reporting process across all financial statement areas, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow.
- Monitor changes in IFRS regulations and ensure that the company’s reporting practices are up-to-date.
- Execute month end closings with excellence
- Inflation accounting experience is a plus.
- Prepare and present financial analyses and reports to senior management.
- Prepare and submit the independent audit report ( TTK ) for approval and auditing.
- Collaborate with other departments (Tax, Legal, HR and Operations) to gather necessary financial data.
- Manage insurance operations and ensure proper accounting treatment of related transactions.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
Capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or professional qualifications like ACCA, CPA is a plus).
- At least 5 years of experience in IFRS financial reporting, preferably in a managerial or senior position.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and their application in financial reporting.
- Fluent in English & Turkish
- Advanced level of tax legislations know-how
- Good financial knowledge and business acumen
- Good command of SAP & Microsoft Office program
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Strong planning and analysis skills and process improvement mindset
- Self-starter with effective communication skills
