Accounting Specialist.
Mission Statement
Responsible for the timely and accurate maintenance of the General Ledger and the preparation of all required financial reporting. Provide support and resolve queries to internal customers relating to the general accounting process. Constantly strive in finding ways in which the general accounting process can be further improved. Ensure that general ledger postings are processed in compliance with CCI’s Accounting Policies and Procedures.
What we expect
- Deliver the highest quality of service as defined by the team leader in conjunction with the business units
- Meet Service Partnership Agreements (SPAs) and productivity targets
- Execute accounting and financial reporting processes (e.g. BOFC, Group Office’s, TCCC and Anadolu Group’s reporting and analysis requirements)”
- Validate and enter accurately all entries to the General Ledger
- Ensure all assigned accounts are reconciled in a timely manner
- Execute all closing operations as per defined timelines
- Establish a good relationship with customers maintaining open communication channels and developing high standards for service delivery
- Ensure compliance with the CCI group accounting policies & IFRS, Service Center standard processes and Service Partnership Agreements (SPAs)
- Follow up Capital Markets Board and IFRS requirements
- Post and follow up all month-end IRFS accruals
- Ensure adherence with the monthly and yearly accounting reporting cycles
- Ensure that all process controls are operational, actively identify control gaps and recommend possible solutions
- Recognize and communicate potential issues/risks within the team and work with the team to generate solutions
- Providing support for internal/external audit requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Capabilities
- Min. 2 years in an accounting role with an accumulated knowledge of general accounting principles
- Good command of English, both written and verbal is a prerequisite; Knowledge of one of the following languages will be considered an advantage: Turkish, Arabic, Russian or any of CA local languages
- Be a Certified Puplic Accountant (SMMM) preferably
- Ability to interact courteously with customers with a high quality of service
- Ability to analyze customer needs through soliciting, evaluating and acting upon customer feedback
- Ability to coordinate with other internal departments to deliver a seamless service to customers
- Confident, self motivated and enthusiastic
- Solid quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Accepting/adapting to cultural differences
- Process improvement skills
