About This Opportunity
GM Assistant is a position responsible for assisting General Manager in managing daily company operations and performing PAC (Public Affairs and Communication) duties in coordination with the General Manager and PAC in Turkey. The overall objective of this role is providing assistance to General Manager and ensuring positive, safe and profitable communication with external organizations, and directly reporting to General Manager.
What You Can Expect from The Role
- Direct phone calls, faxes and emails addressed to GM
- Ensure smooth flow of information between departments and management;
- Organize and manage GM’s agenda. Welcome and direct daily visitors of GM
- Provide oral and written translations from a foreign language into Turkmen / Russian and from Turkmen / Russian to foreign language for General Management needs within the time limits set by the General Manager
- Represent the company in external meetings, conferences, exhibitions etc.
- Review, revise and draft incoming and outgoing correspondence, documents for consideration and signature of the General Manager.
- Negotiate and lead all external communication, cooperation, connection with governmental and private organizations, social organizations including non-profits and international agencies
- Keep and ensure safety of files of incoming, outgoing letters, legal documents prior to archiving
- Act as a representor of the company in external activities, give information to departments about upcoming events and ensure internal and external communication
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree from Economy, Administration, Social sciences, Foreign Language or another relevant field.
- 1-3 years of experience in similar roles.
- Effective communication skills both in writing and orally. Excellent customer service skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs.
- Organization and planning skills.
- Ability to write business letters.
- Proficiency in Russian, Turkmen and English languages.
