Job Identification
We are looking for an Engineer to be a part of our Supply Chain team located in Kazakhstan.
What We Expect
- arrange technically correct exploitation and in-time repair of power equipment and power systems;
- ensure proper technical exploitation, uninterrupted operation of the electronics;
- take part in checking the technical state and accepting the electronics newly put into operation, learn and share the experience of mastering the new equipment and technologies with the maintenance staff;
- ensure making of applications for purchase of electric equipment, materials, spare parts along with relevant calculations, for providing the enterprise with electric power and connecting to additional power supply companies, for development of measures, which are aimed at reducing the usage of energy resources and applying new machinery called to contribute to more reliable, efficient and safer operation of the power units, as well as to higher labor force efficiency;
- take participation in development of plans on perspective development of the electrical facilities, plans on improvement of the production capacity;
- take part in making proposals on reconstruction and/or technical upgrade of the enterprise, on application of means intended for complex mechanization and automation of production processes;
- take part in consideration of projects suggesting reconstruction and modernization of the system supplying the company and its divisions with power;
- take part in creating technical tasks on projection of new and reconstruction of the existing energy units;
- provides support to electronic technicians in commissioning, routine and emergency repairs, maintenance, testing, and inspection of equipment. Also serves as a shift replacement for an absent electronic technician, if necessary;
- arrange development of measures to improve the efficiency of the fuel and energy resources, the reliability and efficiency of power generation devices, to prevent failures, to provide safe and favorable work conditions for their exploitation;
- control implementation of H&S requirements, manuals for exploitation of power generation units and use of electrical equipment and networks;
- make contracts with external organizations on power supply of the company; control their implementation;
- control on-time supply with spare parts and materials for the electronics;
Qualifications:
- University Graduate (degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Instrumentation and Automation (I&C), Process Control Systems, or related fields)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics, instrumentation and control systems (I&C), process control systems, and automation system maintenance.
- Ability to read technical drawings, electrical schematics, and other technical documentation; proficient in circuit design work.
- Knowledge of the technical specifications, structural features, functions, and operating modes of electronics, instrumentation and automation equipment, rules for their operation, installation, and repair methods.
- Knowledge of IEC 61131-3 standard programming languages (LAD, STL, FBD, etc.).
- Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming with SIEMENS systems, including PLC configuration and I/O modules (Step 7, TIA Portal, WinCC).
- Understanding of the principles of industrial network operation, ranging from simple stand-alone systems and basic AS-Interface networks to Ethernet-based systems, Profinet, Profibus, and wide-area networks; knowledge of data transmission protocols.
- Experience in commissioning and acceptance testing.
- Experience in project management within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and EPLAN is an advantage.
- English level- Pre Intermediate or higher Computer skills: MS Office
