What We Expect
1.Take an inventory of all types and sources of wastes generated at the plant, and control the sources of harmful emissions into the environment;
2. Explore the possibilities of reducing costs through proper organization of utilization of industrial wastes – separation, sorting, processing and destruction;
3. Maintain relations with the city, regional officials of environmental protection, city water utility;
4. Report to statistical agencies and other environmental organizations;
5. Provide data for business planning so that environmental aspects are included in the process;
6. Help the Department/Company staff involved in audit of the Environmental Management System;
7. Maintain and update documentation containing local environmental management requirements in a timely manner;
8. Keep records confirming compliance with the local environmental and other requirements of the Company and Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
9. Maintain and timely update the documents containing the GEP (Good Environmental Practice) and other requirements of the Company and Environment Management Department. Contribute to the staff’s awareness of the importance of the environmental policy for the Company, so that employees adequately represent this Company policy to the society. Organize and conduct trainings for the production staff to fully understand the environmental impact of their work and increase their personal responsibility;
10. Develop and implement material recycling programs in order to minimize the emissions;
11. Maintain a continuous improvement program in order (water consumption, energy, waste generation, disposal of chemicals) to minimize the environmental impacts;
12. Collect data on water consumption, energy, and solid waste generation. Interact with the crisis management team on environmental issues;
13. Inspect various elements of the Environmental Protection Program according to the approved inspection schedule in order to ensure compliance with the standards and legal requirements. Discuss and coordinate with the heads of departments the conclusions on those inspections and assist in implementation of the recommendations;
Qualifications:
- University Graduate (degree in environmental engineering);
- Minimum 3 years experience in relevant field;
- rules and regulations of occupational safety, health, industrial sanitation, fire protection and environmental protection;
- English level -Upper-intermediate
- Computer skills: MS Office,SAP
