Job Identification

We are looking for a Supply Chain Associate who will be responsible for organizing transportation logistics, managing inventory accuracy, and overseeing the loading and dispatching process while strictly adhering to FEFO principles. The role includes supervising forklift operations, ensuring the integrity of received and shipped goods, and maintaining compliance with safety standards and cleanliness protocols in warehouse areas. This position is based in Baghdad and operates within our Supply Chain and Logistics team.

What We Expect

  • Plan and organize transportation trucks and forklift operators. Develop and implement the loading plan to facilitate the shipment process.
  • Strictly adhere to the First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO) principle when shipping.
  • Direct forklift operators on the proper stocking procedures for new items arriving from the production lines, following the established warehouse layout.
  • Verify that received stocks are properly segregated.
  • Ensure that items received from the production lines match the system records.
  • Identify and separate any erroneous products received from the production lines and place them in a designated hold area.
  • Conduct daily inventory, ensure that the physical inventory aligns with the system records.
  • Send products that have reached two-thirds of their shelf life to the quality assurance department for testing.
  • Perform periodic inventory stock counts as required.
  • Maintain organized and clean indoor and outdoor stocking areas.
  • Utilize cleaning equipment appropriately and ensure the proper functioning of automatic doors and air curtains.
  • Inspect incoming pallets and track those requiring repair or those that have been repaired.
  • Adhere to all job safety regulations and consistently use personal protective equipment (gloves, cap, helmet, steel-tipped work shoes, etc.).
  • Regularly check stock conditions to ensure they comply with job safety rules.
  • Properly segregate effluents originating from the warehouse building and the loading area.
  • Verify the loading limits of all vehicles entering and leaving the plant to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare work schedules for forklift operators, monitor and ensure adherence to the established work system.
  • Generate a monthly warehouse performance report and submit it to top management.
  • Monitor and control the entry of unauthorized personnel into the warehouse.
