Job Identification

We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist who will be responsible for executing daily production and warehouse plans aligned with the HQ Supply Planning Department strategy. The role involves managing warehouse operations during designated shifts, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective handling of finished goods and materials, while maintaining optimal stock levels and supporting continuous production flow. This position is based in Baghdad and is part of our Supply Chain team.

What We Expect

  • Make daily production plans according to supply plan by HO Supply Planning Department
  • Suggests way & means and support warehouse Associate to improve the efficiency & to reduce warehousing operating cost.
  • To manage & supervise warehouse operation in his shift of his respective location.
  • Efficiently managing Warehouse shipping operations to ensure timely loading / un-loading of Sales Direct / Indirect and other plant transfer vehicles during his shift
  • Managing the Warehouse requirements such as pallets and contract labour in order to support Warehouse operations at his respective location in his shift.
  • Closely following up the production realization and line performance. Having alternative daily plans, in case of need in plan changes
  • Tracking and monitoring of FG Inventory Levels in the plants. Ensure that any factor affecting the inventory levels is timely identified and communicated to HO Supply Planning Teams
  • To effectively control product losses/damages (wastages) & Shortages as per set standards during product storage / handling in designated shift.
  • Regularly monitor product & concentrate expiration dates to ensure adherence to the First Expired, First Out (FEFO) inventory management principle.
  • Managing shift plans for daily operation in the factories according to demand plans on the field.
  • Managing production plans according to need of change caused by operational reasons such as late delivery of materials, brekage in the production lines (capability of creating min cost to the system)
  • Entering daily production plans in the SAP and keep the plans up to date
  • Ensuring the execution of daily production plans by accurately aligning them with the overall supply strategy set by the HQ Supply Planning Department.
  • Responsible for all activities of Warehouse operations in designated shift related to Finished Goods / empty stocks designated within the warehousing area .
  • Responsible for Warehousing activities & leading and managing Warehouse operations in designated shift  in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner, ensuring customer focus and meeting company’s requirements. 
  • Maintaining the balance between supply and demand, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring the continuity of production processes.
