We are looking for a Health and Safety Engineer to be a part of our Supply Chain team located in Azerbaijan, Ismayilli city.

What We Expect:

 

  • Responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by planning and engineering the implementation of the related programs.

  • Controlling H&S Rules in workplace and conducting the preparation of comprehensive plans for the improvement of work conditions

  • Analyzing the causes of injury in production and taking preventive actions and organizing their implementation

  • Conducting H&S inductions to new joiners and assisting the epmployees to solve appeared H&S issues.

  • Participating in attestation commission and evaluation of Engineers’ and other technical employees’ H&S knowledge

  • Investigating health and safety-related complaints; Considering applications, letters, and compliances of employees and taking required actions

  • Ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation

  • Carrying out risk assessments and determining ways of reducing risks

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Good command of Azerbaijani and English (both written and verbal)
  • Advanced user in MS Office programs
  • Good knowledge of Technical Safety Rules
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills and the ability to challenge constructively Strategic thinking.
  • Effective team working and networking skills and the ability to work independently using own initiative.
  • Relevant professional qualification in H&S field
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize own workload.
  • Extensive knowledge of effective health and safety management strategies and best practice
  • Detailed knowledge of current health and safety legislation and its application in a public sector environment
