Job Identification

We are looking for a Technician to join our Supply Chain team in Kazakhstan.

Mission Statement

  • Participate in the annual inventory of the Company’s assets.
  • Develop current and long-term repair and maintenance plans for the machines assigned to their area (workshop), conveyor systems entering and exiting the area (workshop), as well as auxiliary equipment in the area (workshop).
  • Organize the preparation of repair work, determine the need for spare parts, materials, and tools for the repair of the equipment in the area. Coordinate orders with engineers for the repair and maintenance of equipment in the process workshop, water treatment, and wastewater facilities.
  • Analyze the causes of increased wear, breakdowns, and downtime of equipment, and take measures to prevent them.
  • Develop standards for the lifespan of spare parts, nomenclature for interchangeable and fast-wearing components, and norms and limits for the consumption of lubricants.
  • Maintain records and reports on the repair, modernization, and reconstruction of equipment.
  • Prepare necessary technical documentation for operators: operation manuals, forms for recording maintenance and equipment malfunctions, checklists, and recommendations for troubleshooting common issues.
  • Organize training and knowledge assessments for area operators.
  • Report on the efficiency of equipment and any malfunctions.
  • Monitor compliance by employees with technological, production, and labor discipline, as well as safety rules, standards for labor protection, fire safety, and industrial sanitation.

Qualification requirements

  • Secondary technical / Higher technical education
  • At least 3 years of work experience in an engineering or technical specialty
  • Skills in performing repair work on production equipment / good locksmith skills
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of theoretical mechanics and electronics, understanding of machinery and equipment in the line
  • Knowledge of descriptive geometry and engineering graphics, ability to read technical documentation
  • Language proficiency: ability to read technical literature in English.
