Job Identification

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist in Finance Shared services located in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. 

What We Expect

Responsible for the timely and accurate invoice processing and posting, control and posting of employee advance payments and employee expense reports. Exception handling related to invoice processing. Constantly strive in finding ways in which the AP process can be further improved.

  • Process invoices, controlling price and quantity against Purchase Order and Goods Receipt (3-way match).
  • Control advance payment requests for vendors and employees
  • Control employee expense reports and receipts
  • Post successfully controlled vendor invoices and employee expense reports
  • Manage invoice exceptions with related departments
  • Control GR/IR (goods receipt & invoice receipts)
  • Accrual transactions for invoices
  • Deliver the highest quality of service as defined by the team leader in conjunction with the business units
  • Provide support to the team leader on the invoice processing and posting supported by FSC
  • Execute all month end closing operations as per defined timetable

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Major for Education: Accounting, Finance, Economics or another business-related fiel
  • 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
  • Good command of English (both written and verbal); Knowledge of one of the following languages will be considered an asset: Turkish, Russian or any of the CA local languages
  • Significant exposure to local rules and regulations 
  • Knowledge of SAP Accounts Payable Module
  • Proficient user of MS applications
  • Knowledge of Readsoft would be an asset
  • Strong focus on providing the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Confident, self motivated and enthusiastic
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Accepting/adapting to cultural differences
  • Process improvement skills
