Job Objective
This position is responsible for implementing plant Occupational Health and Safety (H&S) policy by assessing H&S risks and providing technical solutions. Along with the effective implementation of the H&S policy, this position requires nurture a culture where everyone identifies H&S as their direct responsibility; thereby complying with all CCI and TCCC H&S standards, obligations, rules and regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as an H&S coordinator at the location and taking part in H&S implementation projects
- Carrying out both conformity assessments according to ISO 45001, ISO 14001 within the scope of local rules and regulations, Coca-Cola standarts (KORE) and studies to ensure compliance
- Implementing, disseminating and executing ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OHS Management Systems requirements
- Organizing and reporting on the periodic H&S committee meetings
- Provide plan of the periodic controls, maintenance and measurements to be made within the scope of H&S management systems in the workplace, ensure the implementation of the prepared plans
- Take measures to H&S Management Systems Performance as periodic and report to the management and other organizations to this result
- Following up the routine controls, measurements, analyses and permissions / documents, to follow the correspondence with official institution
- Making suggestions, planning actions and reporting to the employer on these issues to identify hazards in the workplace and risk assessments, elimination of hazards and controlling risks
- Provide evaluation internal and external H&S audits, to arrange and follow up Regulatory Preventive Activities (RPA) and to resolve non-conformities
- Organize and manage training to be given to employees within the scope of ISO 45001 OHS Management System, Kore Requirements and according to risk assessment, contributing to the monitoring of training effectiveness
- Determination annual budget of expenditures to be made for H&S activities, to create and follow the investment plans
Capabilities
- Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Departments (Environmental Engineering is a plus)
- Preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience
- C Class Health and Safety (Preferred A & B Class certificate)
- Preferably holding International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (Nebosh IGC)
- Proficiency both in English & Turkish (both speaking & writing)
- MS Office applications and SAP knowledge
- Locate / willing to locate in Elazığ
