Health and Safety Engineer

Job Objective

This position is responsible for implementing factory Environment, Occupational Health and Safety(HSE) policy by assessing HSE risks and providing technical solutions. Along with the effective implementation of the HSE policy, this position requires to nurture a culture where everyone identifies HSE as their direct responsibility; thereby complying with all CCI and TCC HSE standards, obligations, rules and regulations.

Main Responsibilities

Follow the organization's HSandE policies, procedures and mandatory instructions, to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the wellbeing of oneself and others in the workplace. Identify patterns of risky behavior within the team and take appropriate action to resolve these, escalating serious issues as appropriate.

Determining expenditures for HSE activities, including them in the annual budget for both CAPEX and OPEX and ensure that they are aligned with HSE strategies. Conduct HSE audits and follow up to verify compliance, and advise concerned to improve the weaknesses observed. Assessing the recommendations of CCI internal audits (Anadolu audit, central H&S team audits etc ) and external audits (GAO audits (S1,E1), governmental ministry audits and SGP Audits. Creating a corrective action plans on these recommendations and implementing the actions.
