Quality Assurance Engineer, Sapanca

Job Identification

We are now seeking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to be part of our Supply Chain team in Sapanca.

What We Expect

• Supervise quality assurance processes (lab, syrup, microbiology, water/wastewater treatment) and conduct analyses when needed. Ensure compliance with company standards and legal regulations.
• Manage materials for water and syrup production, oversee purchase orders, and ensure efficient equipment use. Lead production to meet customer satisfaction and optimize material yields.
• Ensure production aligns with GMP, Food Safety, CCİ, and TCCC requirements. Address nonconformities and manage corrective/preventive actions.
• Plan resources (equipment, materials, staff), oversee audits, and ensure proper calibration/maintenance. Utilize QA software (e.g., SAP).
• Manage department HR needs, implement performance management, identify development needs, and ensure compliance with health and safety.
• Address customer complaints, report consumer feedback, and visit customers when necessary.
• Maintain and update Quality/Management Systems documentation. Lead innovative and digitalization projects.

Capabilities

• University Graduate (Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering graduates are preferable)
• Good command of English and fluent in Turkish is must (both speaking & writing)
• Locate / willing to locate to Sapanca or Sakarya
• Minimum 2 years of Quality Assurance job experience
• C Class Health and Safety, also 6sigma certificates are preferable
• Self-motivated and good motivator
• Strong leadership, planning and organizational skills
