Health and Safety Engineer

Job identification

We are looking for a Health and Safety Engineer for the Operational team in Samarkand.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensuring safe operation of the plant: Ensuring smooth and safe operation of the plant in accordance with KORE core standards and statutory requirements.
• Monitoring compliance with safety standards: Monitoring compliance with instructions, regulations and safety standards in the company's division.
• Monitoring annual improvement plans: Monitor implementation of annual plans to improve working conditions, health and safety measures at the plant.
• Conducting safety training: Participate in conducting safety induction training for employees.
• Methodological assistance to divisions: Developing and providing methodological assistance to the company's divisions on the development of health and safety instructions.
• Conducting occupational safety briefings: Control and, if necessary, conduct occupational safety briefings at employees' workplaces.
• Control over personal protective equipment (PPE): Control over the conditions of storage, use and issuance of PPE in the company's divisions, participation in the revision of PPE provision standards.
• Compliance with safety requirements: Strict observance and enforcement of labor protection rules and regulations, safety and environmental safety requirements when carrying out works

Qualifications

• Higher technical education (mechanic, transportation engineer, electrical engineer).
• Proficient user of MS Office, Excel.
• Knowledge of English, Russian and Uzbek languages at C1 level.
• Experience in a similar position for at least 5 years
